一、连词

2. whether&if ：正常的情况下两者能够交换，但在以下几种情况下两者不能交换：
只能用whether ：
① 在带to 的不定式前
We decided whether to help him.
② 在介词的后边
I’m thinking of whether we should help him.
③ 在动词后边的宾语从句时
We discussed whether we should help him.
④ 直接与or not 连用时
I can’t say whether or not they will help him.
只能用if ：
① if 引导的表假定的从句：
He will be saved if we help him.
② if 引导的表否定的从句:
He asked if I didn’t help him.
③ 直接运用even if 和as if
He talks as if he has known all about it.
二、衔接代词：who,whom,whose,which,what
